Even if you design complex terrain, our procedural structure adapts. Rocks, plants, trees—everything is recreated as it is in nature. / Procedural World Generator ScansLibrary @unrealengine #ue5 #procedural #environment #pcg #forest #gamedev #unrealengine

Exploring Niagara’s liquid system and it feels both fascinating and painfully complex for a beginner. #UnrealEngine just keeps blowing my mind with its endless possibilities.

"Sound is 50 percent of the movie going experience, and I've always believed audiences are moved and excited by what they hear in my movies at least as much as by what they see." -George Lucas This is doubly true for games btw

Nanite Assemblies in UE5.7 let you reference thousands of meshes in a single Nanite StaticMesh. I think it unlocks a new level of procedural content generation. In this test, ~5,000 meshes became one asset, small file size, great performance! #TechArt #PCG #UE5

This level of superhuman dexterity will soon be available for hands as well. Robots will surpass master pianists, archers and builders. They will dominate the physical realm just as they have the realm of chess and go.

Really enjoying Cronos: The New Dawn. The environments, lighting and atmosphere are masterful. Sound design is fantastic. Story is compelling. Gameplay is every bit as good as the new Resident Evil remakes. UE5 Nanite is on full display and the level of detail is incredible.

Attn: this is required homework for all Unreal animators. Caleb demonstrates the modern locomotion animation architecture in Unreal. Everything is at the right level of abstraction. It's simple to setup, easy to modify or extend and looks great.

I think it's obvious, RL + QDD actuators have solved dexterity. The next frontier is autonomous navigation and behavior. Nobody was puppeteering C-3PO with a dual analog controller.

Finally got to see the real Unitree R1 demo. Impressive hardware performance consistency — side flip 10 times in a row without much degradation.

Like a lot of people my age my first adventures in storytelling was playing with Star Wars figures as a kid. So when I did this quick test of kinetix video I tested it out with a Star Wars theme. What you’re seeing on the left is the driving video and staring frame. Then you
