Over 7000+ people visited the ‘Kiswat-Al-Kaaba’ exhibition on Saturday, organised by Council for Mosques, Bradford Council & Mr T’s. The exhibition showcased the Kiswa (the large cloth covering the Kaaba) as well as artefacts from Makkah & Mahdina. A huge honour for Bradford to host.

It was an honour for us to host Rotary International President, Stephanie Urchick,Khidmat centres last week on her visit from the USA. We showcased our film ‘The Power of Play’ over generations and held workshops on play. Stephanie was also able to see our Peace Garden.

After visiting Khidmat centres today to discuss a new youth-led resilience group with Dr Sofia Buncy, PC Huss & PC Hanif had the opportunity to meet and speak with the women’s group. The interaction included a short prayer for the loss of a family member of the group.

Was honoured to have been a speaker at the 30 year anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre. Listening to the other speakers brings home the fact that we need peace around the world. Enough is enough.
