What is happening in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a national tragedy. More than 300 400 ppl have lost their lives in floods. I see very few ppl talking about this. Just a day ago, we were celebrating being Pakistani but we are too cold hearted to share the pain of our fellow Pakistanis

Pir Baba, a descendant of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through Imam Zain ul Abideen, migrated from Fergana to Buner around (1502 AD) to spread Islam among Pashtuns. His mazar & surroundings were also hit by the flood. Are u saying even a wali of Allah and his resting place were punished?

Remember this over 400 people lost their lives in the floods, and even a rescue helicopter crashed due to bad weather, yet Afridi beghairat hasn’t tweeted a single word, still waiting for the establishment permission before showing sympathy.

Sad to see how Pashtuns have faced wave after wave of hardship, from terrorism to displacement and now floods, but inspiring how they never step back. Time and again, they resist, fight back, and lift themselves with their own strength. Their resilience isn’t mythical, it’s real,

raw, and visible today in their solidarity, their traditions, and their refusal to be crushed, not just for survival but to protect their identity and dignity as a people! Long live my people!

Some ignorant ethnonationalists support the TTP, while these Afghani TTP members are ‘celebrating’ the floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Pashto, they write ‘bohot bohot shukriya, mere Allah,’ even as homes are being destroyed by the floods in the video.

I’m so proud of the people who are helping and bringing food to the Buner flood victims. I’ve visited twice, the people of Buner are very kind and hospitable, they have lost everything in this flood, yet they are still assisting in the rescue operations.
