kfunk937 If it ain’t broke… but on a more serious note, memory B cells are much easier to activate than naive. Any response relying on them will be much faster than one that starts from naive cells and that is critical in dealing with infectious diseases

When a self-described journalist also admits that lying is essential to their work practice, it’s fair to question whether their reporting on anything is truthful or reliable.

Personally I’m not inclined to give much credence to journalists who fabricate data.

tl;dr- the work shows the immune system prefers to recycle memory cells to target conserved sites instead of recruiting brand naive cells to target mutated sites. This work doesn't show that this is bad and IMO doesn't show that vaccination suppresses response against Omicron.
