📝 Happy to spend two days auditing a workshop on Double Standards and International Law organised by KFG "International Rule of Law - Rise or Decline?" & Harvard Law School Program on International Law in Armed Conflict. Very engaging and insightful discussions with excellent academics in the premises of Freie Universität 📚
So glad to participate in the KFG "International Rule of Law - Rise or Decline?" workshop on Double Standards in International Law. Many excellent presentations & lot of food for thought. I talked in the panel on trade & investment - with brilliant presentations by Olabisi D. Akinkugbe, Catherine Weaver.
It has been a terrific 48hrs KFG "International Rule of Law - Rise or Decline?" in Berlin where Patryk I Labuda, David Hughes and Heike Krieger hosted us for the Workshop on “Double Standards & International Law.” So many interesting & wide-ranging reflections on the diversity & complicity of IL’s double standards …/1
The Workshop was a great opportunity to share my work-in-progress; but even more enriching to listen to my sister Matiangai Sirleaf share reflections on her project & a good time to see and share a great laugh with Nwamaka R. Okany too. Many thanks, Patryk I Labuda & David for the invitation.
