Very proud of all volunteers and all initiatives American University of Beirut Medical Center and #AUBMCares, who despite all hardships keep growing and giving to help their community in any way that they can.

Medical students enrolled in the Scholarly Concentration Track (SCT) under the directorship of Martine Bejjani and DrZouein presented their research work last week and received their certificates in the presence of President Dr. Fadlo Khuri and Dean Raymond Sawaya.

Honored to have been named among Gold Foundation’s 20th anniversary chapter honorees by my home chapter American University of Beirut. A huge thank you to Dr. Kamal Badr and Dr. Zeina Kanafani, executive chapter leaders for bringing this wonderful initiative home and putting Lebanon on the GHHS map.

Saturdays at American University of Beirut Medical Center American University of Beirut are days where student-led clinics are held under the umbrella of AUBMCares. Today we held our CARE clinic, which offers free medical attention to underprivileged citizens in Lebanon who cannot afford access to healthcare otherwise.

The clinic is coordinated by medical and nursing student volunteers. We lead the encounters with the patients, and then we finalize the cases with attendings who allocate their time for this cause: Dr. Kamal Badr, Dr. Zeina Kanafani and Dr. Umayya Msharafieh.
