Spent time #troubleshooting an assay with my technician Kevin Slye and made significant progress figuring out what was going wrong! And it felt good to be in the #lab again using my hands. Gotta keep the #pipetting skills sharp!

This morning I wrote on my to do list "get gas". However, when I checked it right now I thought it said "get G(alpha)s" and I thought, "I'm not doing any #GPCR experiments right now...?"

Good News! The #molecularcloning my #undergraduateresearcher has been working on this summer has worked and she has successfully put together the parts for a new biosensor! (Hopefully once the biosensor is in cells it works... 😆)
