Hugo & Laurent, our associate consultant in DR Congo, traveled to Goma in May to support the SAFER consortium’s rapid response mechanism, carrying out a review of 5 pilot interventions aimed at enhancing implementation speed. Learn more about SAFER here: drc.mercycorps.org/fr/blog/SAFER-…


To further strengthen the cash confidence of UN Humanitarian who has taken on a co-chair function of the cash working groups across the globe in non-refugee settings, & embed cash across OCHA's thematic expertises, Key Aid delivered a cash coordination training in Dakar early summer.



9.4 million people have been displaced since April 2023 in Sudan. UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency has scaled up its operation there & in neighbouring countries. In Sept., our team of 5 evaluators conducted primary data collection in Chad for the evaluation of the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency L3 Multi-Country Response to the Sudan situation, exploring the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, & sustainability of their interventions in Chad, amongst others.



Late Sept. Key Aid was in Geneva with the UN Humanitarian cash experts to take stock of a year working together on strengthening Cash Confidence capacity. Three training packages were delivered to about 150 staff around the globe. There's still a lot more to come, so watch this space!
