2K started their week in the best possible way - with a strong love of learning! ✏️⭐️ We loved learning about sound patterns in music 🎵 In English, we are focusing on capital letters and full stops - building to a short, exciting narrative based on our class story ‘Tiddler’🐠📚

After learning how to clap a sound rhythm in time with the music, 2K really wanted to perform the chants that accompanied their rhythms. It can be tricky in time with the music - a big well done 🦁🎵⭐️

Year 5 absolutely loved learning how to speed walk today, as we had the wonderful opportunity to be taught by the Olympian Tom Bosworth MBE Some of us have even found a new talent! 🏃

We had a fantastic time taking part in Bikeability this week! 🚴 5K have learnt important cycling skills and road safety, gaining confidence on two wheels. Massive thank you to the instructors for making it so much fun 🤩

In Science, 3K have been carrying out investigations with rocks. The class have determined which rocks would be best suited on kitchen worktops, perform best as roofs and as building materials. The children have used their oracy skills, summarising and discussing their results.

It was amazing to listen to the amazing opportunties ⁦Greenbank High School⁩ from Ms Aspinall, Headteacher,Head Girl, Grace and Year 8 pupil ,Ruby. Thank you to all the pupil guides and parents and carers for visiting.
