Went out with hubby yesterday evening collecting food from supermarkets for @DevonandCornwallfoodaction and felt very emotional when a couple queuing to get into Tesco Lee Mill Extra came up to us and gave £20 for the charity. Thank you whoever you are.

A truly wonderful day spent at Merrivale @visitdevon VisitDartmoor I always marvel at the Kistvaens and ceremonial stone circles and stone rows. Imagining life in the Bronze Age. Spectacular views too.

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the removal of the statue of Drake from #PlymouthHoe Yes, he was Hawkin’s cousin and started his naval career aiding his cousin, so perhaps his statue should be removed, but does that mean renaming Drake’s circus and Drake’s island?

I can’t believe it’s June and I am sat with a blanket over my knees!

One thing which I am definitely not missing during lockdown are the piles of vomit which you need to dodge, along Mutley Plain on a Saturday and Sunday morning.
