A good API doesn’t just return data. It handles rate-limiting, caching, auth, validation, logging, versioning, and graceful failure. If you only return JSON then you're not building an API, you're just exposing a database.

trish Every shortcut you skip in API design becomes a support ticket later. No rate limiting? Enjoy the DDoS. No versioning? Enjoy breaking every integration when you update. No auth? Enjoy explaining to your CEO why user data leaked.

Survey Kenya 360⁰ Error propagation. Errors for optical instruments are systematic, easy to correct (e.g, distributing misclosure in a traverse). GPS errors, such as multipath and ionospheric interference, are highly random and messy. For a serious control network at a construction site, go TS.

Just finished coding a tool to reduce a resection (raytrace) traverse; no more manual calculations! It; Computes swing & scale factors Spreads errors across traverse points Checks accuracy within survey tolerances Perfect for validating beacons & adjusting bearings in the field

Kenya primarily utilizes the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) projection, specifically UTM zone 37S and UTM zone 36S. Nairobi, Kenya, falls within zone 37. The UTM projection is favored for its accuracy and ease of use in surveying and mapping compared to older projections

The geometric design of vertical and horizontal alignments in Kenya is guided by the ROAD DESIGN MANUAL by the Ministry of Roads and Transport. The Americans have the AASHTO standards. These standards stipulate the design constraints for sustainability and safety. Horizontal

Be careful with this idea that ‘everyone is replaceable.’ Some people are one-of-a-kind. If you lose them, life won’t hand you another version. You don’t meet certain souls twice
