New writing is up. Would genuinely love your thoughts. I know the new cool thing is not to care about what people think, but, I actually do care. Because I wrote it for you. So, you know, check it out. Read it here: KevinBreel.Substack.Com

Still thinking about this. The new cultural norm seems to be to specialize in outrage and random opinions. The world isn’t perfect. And I really can appreciate people standing up for their beliefs. But I think we still need people doing the work. Creating. It has impact.

Start creating. It feels difficult at first. And then pointless. And then hopeless. But then, that feeling fades away. And you find a way in. Even if it’s tiny. And then you keep going. And then you have something! Which is better than nothing. And that feels good.

I wrote a new thing. It’s a story about overthinking stuff and fear and how silly our minds can be sometimes. Would love for you to read it: KevinBreel.Substack.Com

People are waking up to the fact mental health is a multi layered problem. It creates challenges for individuals and families. It causes enormous pain and loss. It limits great artists, makers and entrepreneurs. Important to keep pushing the conversation forward. Always.

Dearest friends: I am writing and publishing brand new work every single week. These aren’t “rough drafts”. They are polished pieces of finished work that took time, attention and energy. Hope you enjoy and get value from it. Read them here: KevinBreel.Substack.Com

This is great. Reminds me of words from David Foster Wallace: “If your fidelity to perfectionism is too high, you never do anything. Because doing anything results in- it’s actually kind of tragic, you sacrifice how gorgeous and perfect it is in your head for what it really is”

Sometimes it really is simple: mental health is one of the largest problems in our culture and we need more meaningful conversations, more innovation and more support systems. Everyone of us can lend a hand or lend our voice. #BellLetsTalk
