Power outages in PA & Eastern OH as of this morning. These are courtesy of a line of strong storms that marched through yesterday afternoon/evening. A few outages in Central NY as well. These were the storms that weakened as they entered a low CAPE environment that was in place

Storms are just starting to get their act together as they enter a more favorable environment. Storm Prediction Center is likely going to issue a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in the red-highlighted region over the next hour. Right now, a gusty downpour is heading towards Albany,

Severe Thunderstorm Warning through 1:30 for Eastern Greene, Southern Albany, Northern Columbia, and Southern Rensselaer Counties through 1:30 PM. Winds up to 60 MPH, hail up to an inch in diameter, and frequent lightning, and heavy rain ongoing with this storm.

NEW: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Rensselaer, Greene, Columbia, Berkshire, and Bennington Counties until 8 PM. Storms that move through the watch area could be capable of producing wind gusts up to 70 MPH. Isolated large hail of around an inch in diameter is

Severe T-Storm Warning extended farther east into Berkshire County, including Adams, Cheshire, and Pittsfield, through 2:30 PM. Quarter sized hail, frequent lightning, up to 60 MPH wind gusts, and torrential rain all possible with this one. news10.com/weather/
