After we wrote about normalization ratios, I still got pushback from many lower extremity biomechanists on kinetics and physiologists on VO2 max. Here is a good thread going through more of the historical foundation than our paper.

I’ve speculated posterior labrum involvement in the classic OH athlete “dead arm” where posterior cuff massage “hurts so good” and it “needs to be stretched”. I look forward to seeing follow ups on clinical presentation pre op in athletic populations.
