Congrats to Leroy Chapman Jr. - the new Editor-in-Chief of the AJC. He replaces me. I started working for Cox in ‘83 at the Dayton Daily News. Today, I announced my retirement. It’s been a career I couldn’t have imagined, and an honor to lead this newsroom for the past 12 years.

A sad day for Georgians: Bill Nigut says GPB’s Political Rewind (Political Rewind with Bill Nigut) has been canceled as of June 30, apparently due to budget cuts. For the last nine years, the show has been a home for voters who demand a civil, respectable place to discuss politics & policy. #gapol
