Most sports parents I know are great encouragers & teach team values at home. But a few destructive parents are contaminating team culture and are hurting our coaches & teachers. It’s time the majority stand up and support teamwork, and coaches who instill good values.

I’ve been reminded about great coaches we’ve also lost from local baseball, softball, volleyball, football and other sports programs.

I don’t see this changing, unfortunately. The truth is, Bill DeWitt Jr. made his bed when he said owning a franchise isn’t as profitable as one might think. Then his son laughed at the fans’ response of not showing up, stating that it would just make them spend less. St. Louis
