I’ve realized that hateful comments/opinions are almost always rooted in some kind of insecurity, especially those that come from me. I promise you, it’s freeing to become self-aware and attempt to discover what’s deeply-rooted causing you to feel a certain way about something.

Just because another Christian is doing something, doesn’t always mean that it’s correct. Can we please stop basing our decisions based on others, and instead seek out what God says to do in His Word? Just because it sounds like a Jesus thing, doesn’t mean it’s a Jesus thing.

If we don’t lay being grumpy, negative, anxious, selfish, and angry down at the cross… we’ll carry it with us everywhere. Changing locations won’t fix what we carry inside of us.

Do you want to be like Jesus? Be the one who stays even when nobody else does. Be the one who calls people out in truth and love. Be the one who serves without wanting anything in return. That’s Jesus. Imagine our world if we followed His footsteps.

Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not worth it. God’s working through His agenda not yours.

Very special time yesterday doing a Mentoring Day and learning godly wisdom from Leighton & Jeannie Ford, Billy Graham’s sister & brother in law. Leighton has mentored more influential leaders than just about anyone in history. Amazing example for us all.

Seriously, what an honor! I’m so thankful for this opportunity, it was such an awesome day

this is sad... meanwhile i would like to point out that chick fil a opened up their doors on a SUNDAY to feed people in line giving blood after the shooting at a gay night club. doesn’t sound homophobic to me. cfa just understands: disagreement does not mean you cannot love.

Hidden sin is still sin. Just because you can hide it from others doesn’t mean you can hide it from God. But, at the end of the day, give it all to God and watch Him still embrace you with wide open arms. That’s true love despite any sin.

So often, we are paralyzed by the fear of missing God’s will. We literally do not move because we are waiting for 10 confirmations. Here’s the deal, most times you are going to have to step out in faith, to find out if it’s God. God is big enough to redirect you if you’re wrong.

Please read this whole thread! I love this, but hate the fact that it’s so true. The church is so divided and “church people” are commonly the coldest people. Like she said, let’s make the term “Jesus follower” revolutionary.
