Last weekend, I had 2 students represent John Rolfe Middle School at the South Central Regional Virginia TSA held at We Are HSHS. John Rolfe Middle School hasn't competed in over a decade! Congrats to this 6th grader for participating in Essays on Technology. He also competed in an egg drop and won!

We did it! Since February, the John Rolfe Middle School Virginia TSA chapter, working hard fulfilling fundraiser orders and support the American Cancer Society Society. Back in 2014, when I had my photo studio in Virginia Beach, I photographed a man who stood tall at 7'8" and was named in Guinness World Record twice as tallest man in America. I found out today that he passed away. RIP.

Wow!! I received this certificate and a pen last week. 5 years.... Has it really been this long? It feels like a year or 2 since I started in public education... taking my skills in engineering technology to secondary schools. Cheers to making an impact!

How did I spend some of my summer? Deep diving into a 2 week intensive to bring aerospace into my CTE class, with the Virginia Space Grant Consortium and other middle school teachers. I'm cheesin' because I got to go back to where it all started, an intern at Langley.
