It’s embarrassing watching a C-lister like Gavin Newsom try to put on a Trump act. Trump is Trump, and has been a national figure for half a century. Gavin prances & preens & wildly waves his hands around, and now tries to tweet in the Trump style, like a child wearing dad’s tie.

Stern was the last of the superstars of ‘90s radio, at the apex of that medium. Limbaugh had midday, Phil Hendrie & Art Bell had evenings / overnight, and Stern’s “morning zoo” was for people driving to work at 6 a.m. His gimmick, now forgotten, was a bunch of deformed people.
