July 27 -- Happy Birthday, National Polish American Sports HOF inductee Craig Wolanin. Born on this day, Craig was the 3rd overall pick of the New Jersey Devils in the 1985 NHL draft, and went on to an impressive 13 year NHL career, highlighted by a Stanley Cup Championship with the Colorado Avalanche in 1996

Good crop of tomatoes 🍅 in the garden this year. Planted marigolds around the garden and they seem to keep the bugs away and off the veggies. Peppers doing well. Also got about 9 pumpkins 🎃 growing. Great bounty

Glad to hear the news that Sergei Fedorov’s number 91 will be retired. A terrific talented 2-way player who brought fans out of their seats with his skating and skill set. So happy for Sergei. I know he is thrilled about this honor. Congrats 91!
