As Jewish families & communities gather to mark the beginning of #Passover , my heart breaks for all those whose Seder tables will be missing loved ones.

Once again, I renew my call for the immediate & unconditional release of all hostages in Gaza.

On #EarthDay , we must stand for our planet.

A planet threatened by climate change, by pollution, by biodiversity loss.

A planet that needs to be rescued.

So we must unite.

And we must mobilize all our efforts for #ClimateAction .

Plastics know no border.

Every living being & every part of the planet are harmed by plastics & their production.

To #BeatPlasticPollution , we need a strong #PlasticsTreaty that upholds human rights & addresses the full life cycle of plastics.

Climate disasters are also economic disasters.

Floods, fires & droughts are decimating economies around the world.

It is vital that all countries develop new & ambitious #ClimateAction plans by next year.

It is high time to stop the dangerous cycle of retaliation in the Middle East.

I condemn any act of retaliation & appeal to the international community to work together to prevent any further development that could lead to devastating consequences for the entire region & beyond.

Focusing on becoming a better person and which of my Lord's favor can I deny! None!

To avert imminent famine, and further preventable deaths, we need a quantum leap in humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza.

Humanitarian agencies, led by UNRWA, must be able to move food & other supplies safely & via all possible routes & crossings, into & throughout Gaza.

Recent escalations in the Middle East make it even more important to find lasting peace between Israel & Palestine.

The ultimate goal remains a two-state solution.

The international community has a responsibility & a moral obligation to help make this happen.

The Middle East is on a precipice.

The international community must work together to prevent any actions that could push the entire region over the edge, with a devastating impact on civilians.

It is high time to end the bloody cycle of retaliation.

It is high time to stop.

I salute young people around the world for standing up, speaking out and working for real change.

We need you.

I am fully committed to bringing young people into political decision-making; not just listening to your views, but acting on them.

The end of the fossil fuel age is coming.

It is unstoppable.

Finance is essential to supercharge the shift & seize the benefits of resilient economies powered by renewables.

The future of Sudan requires the contributions, participation and vision of all Sudanese.

I will not relent in my calls to silence the guns, and meet the aspirations of the Sudanese people for a peaceful and secure future.

Monday marks one year since the start of fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces.

This is more than a conflict between two warring parties.

It is a war being waged on the Sudanese people.

The world is forgetting about the people of Sudan.

Half of the country’s population needs lifesaving assistance.

But they need more than humanitarian support.

They need an end to the bloodshed.

They need peace.

The only path out of this horror is a political solution.

It is vital to avoid any action that could lead to major military confrontations on multiple fronts in the Middle East.

Civilians are already bearing the brunt & paying the highest price.

We have to actively engage all parties concerned to prevent further escalation.

We have a shared responsibility to work for peace.

Regional – and indeed global - peace and security are being undermined by the hour.

The world cannot afford more war.
