My PhD Thesis is now online! If interested imbalance problems, performance evaluation or optimizing performance measures directly as loss functions in visual detection, then check it out: bit.ly/3JdOOe0. I thank my advisors Sinan Kalkan, Emre Akbas for their great support.

Happy to share our new work 👉 Paper & Code: On Calibration of Object Detectors: Pitfalls, Evaluation and Baselines (arxiv.org/pdf/2405.20459) Congratulations 2 d primary contributors: Selim Kuzucu (our wonderful intern) and Kemal Öksüz (my great team member) 👏👏 Five

This work on calibrating and evaluating object detectors just got accepted to European Conference on Computer Vision #ECCV2026 #ECCV2024 ! Looking forward to going to Milan 🇮🇹!

Happy to announce that our work (with Barış Can, Adnan Harun DOĞAN, Kemal Öksüz, Emre Akbas and Sinan Kalkan) titled ‘Bucketed Ranking-based Losses for Efficient Training of Object Detectors’ has been accepted to #ECCV2024! [1/2]

Our work on the confidence calibration and evaluation of object detectors just been accepted for an oral presentation (top 2.3% of all submissions) European Conference on Computer Vision #ECCV2026 #ECCV2024! It was also accepted as part of the nectar track GCPR 2025 #GCPR ' 24 in Munich!
