Published my first iOS related blog post on the Instil website - instil.co/blog/siri-with…. Imposter syndrome was creeping in here, with the great work that people such as Antoine v.d. SwiftLee  and Paul Hudson do, but hopefully this is useful to somebody :)

I have not known pain quite like enabling Sonarcloud on Xcode Cloud with (and without) fastlane. Just when you think you've got it... 👊

Is 5th time lucky a thing when it comes to applying for conferences? Having spent the last 4 hours agnoising over my NSSpain XIII submission, this is the most exciting one yet! 🤞

I had a wild Saturday evening attempting to install the Meta XR SDK in Unreal Engine 5 on macOS. An awful developer experience! Unity here we go.

A question for all the documenting developers out there: what tooling do you use to ensure correctness in your technical writing? I've come crawling back to Grammarly after an unsuccessful trial run of ProWritingAid but I'm not sold on another year of premium yet.

I thought modularization was the final boss battle in iOS development, but applying RealmSwift as a dynamic framework across targets 😅 Tuist once again is helping to save the day

Estoy aburrido con duolingo 😅 learning languages is really fun but I can’t really apply it outside of a really noisy app. Time for a break (and another excuse to visit 🇪🇸 again!)

Great insight and examples from the folks presenting at Young Leaders NI today. It’s reaffirming that the lack of self wellness in my early days of leadership are common across all industries, as wellness is key to looking after yourself and setting a good example for others. 🙂

Vacationing in Vienna on the biggest day for every iOS developer is a good problem to have, it’s a beautiful city in the summer rain ☔️ it will be nice to get back to work and take in all the hype later this week… Xcode Cloud feat. Apple Silicon 🙏

Lightning talk to the office today titled “In Tuist, We Trust” where I talked through the challenges we faced with the default Xcode project and how @tuistio brought delight back to our developer experience. 😁 Peak heart rate: 131!

Apple Watch Series 7 deprecated by the humble Casio. No more battery anxiety or nice to have but not the most useful metrics, how do watch app developers manage? The first recommendation to improve battery is to… delete third party apps 😕

It’s early days, but I think going without an Apple Watch is a plus for my health. It says a lot about the conditioning of four years with one, that I hesitated about starting a workout for a usual walk before realising the light button on my Casio is as fancy as it gets!

Feedback to your favourite app developers! I wrote to a dev of a workout app I like with feedback on bugs and suggestions on UX. They were thankful for the feedback and shared that Flutter was used to get them going, with that success enabling a move to native in the long term!
