We can't address the issue of abysmally low numbers of female medical school deans without first improving the pipeline of women in division/department leadership positions. Thanks to the ACGME for holding departments accountable and the AAMC for continuing the discussion

I’m interested to hear from #hpmtwitter. Thoughts on #TheNextRightThing from #Frozen2. Did Disney's Frozen get continuing on in the face of grief right?

My grandparents have been married 70 plus years. My grandma was just put on hospice with PNA. My grandpa is not allowed to see her. No one can see her. If she passes away, there will not be a funeral in the foreseeable future. My family is only one of the countless families

Palliative care is NOT only for end of life. When consulted before surgery, - we explore the goals/values - we sometimes encourage the high-risk procedure if that matches the goal This process will help pt/family regardless of the outcome. Surgical Palliative Care Columbia Surgery

I’d like to reiterate that “osteopath” isn’t the smear many folks On Here today seem to think it is. DO is an equivalent degree to MD, with some added bonus material we don’t get. There may be many things to criticize today, but an osteopathic degree isn’t one of them.
