One of my strongest supporters as a future physician is my non-medical best friend. She’s read every personal statement draft, gotten play by plays of each interview, and rejoiced in my acceptances just as much as I did. I can’t overstate how much that support means 😭💕

I took care of a bright 10 yo who broke her arm tonight. She told me she wants to work here one day.

After sedation I brought her a stethoscope as a gift. Beaming, she hugged me and said, “I hope you’re still here when I come work.”

I hope so too, my gal. Keep dreaming big 💫
