Finally seeing a doctor about my back today, which still isn't "back" to normal. I know if I could rest it long enough, it would probably heal, but that's just impossible when I'm responsible for, and have to handle, all the things in our lives. Caregiving takes its toll.

Diagnosis is some scoliosis and quite a bit of arthritis, so I'm going to be susceptible to pain in my back. Rx for an anti-inflammatory and some PT to strengthen my back & core, which will help. Aging ain't for wimps, y'all. 😏 (But I'm very grateful it's not more serious). 🙏

I am here to tell y'all that good friends, crafts, and retail therapy are good for the soul. A friend made me a delicious lunch while we did crafts together yesterday, and today I spent $$$ at a craft store & bookstore. No regrets. My soul is happy. ❤️

Why yes, yes I DID buy "My First STEAM + Words Library" for my soon-to-be-here granddaughter 😊 #Librarian #NeverTooSoon 📚

Making my son and his wife some meals I'm freezing so they'll have back-up food after baby comes (friends are providing a meal-train). I've made: tortellini broccoli bake, spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna roll-ups, and chicken, spinach, artichoke & bacon stuffed bread bowls. 😊

It finally rained yesterday and if it weren't also thundering I would have gone out to stand in it worshipping the water.

Murderbot Diaries, Book #8, by Martha Wells is coming next May from Tor Books Macmillan Library. This will be the only reason I'll look forward to *next* summer! #PLATFORMDECAY
