As a program director for IM, yes, we wish applicants would realize they don’t need to apply to so many programs, especially if not truly interested. Leaves those truly interested without the option of becoming part of our program. We all lose out.

Engaging in the JEDI curriculum with Dr. Deb Banerjee. Learning how to unpack race and racism and move forward to make a better community and world. Hoping to become better versions of ourselves.

Important talk re Transgender Patients by Dr. Joshua Safer. Presenting work about the biological basis for transgender identity. Medicine needs to fully embrace TG identity as a normal variant in the human existence and we all should learn to care better for TG patients.

Another wonderful talk about caring better for transgender/gender non-binary individuals by our very own Dr. Matt Murphy! We can do better in caring for all patients in our community!
