Having your pulse on the community means actually being out in the community. That’s exactly what we did today in Jamaica. My Jamaica Task Force and I spent the day walking Sutphin Boulevard to meet with business owners and residents to hear how the block is doing in their eyes.

This is all part of making sure our streets — and the families who walk them — are getting the investments they need to succeed.
