I’m always tempted to outright reject papers that attempt cross-sectional mediation. Are there ever cases where you allow it (e.g., with substantial clarification about the limitations of the model and inability to draw causal conclusions)?

This has been my exact experience with my improv class. Internship has gotten quite busy, I have several ABCT deadlines coming up, and I’m TIRED. And yet every week for 3 hours, I get to play and think outside the box and hang out with friends in a way that is SO GOOD for me
