JUST THINK WHAT YOU COULD HAVE DELIVERED TODAY IF YOU WEREN’T WEARING A BREXIT BALL AND CHAIN! Just think…of the extra revenue you’d have if it wasn’t for Brexit! Just think…what you could have done if Brexit wasn’t costing us £100 billion a year! Just think…how much better

“Do you think I’d make a good Prime Minister?” wondered Brexit The Elephant. “I had my spads rustle up this little three-word slogan for the lectern.” “What do you think?” #BrexitTheElephant

This week I was honoured to place a remembrance tribute in Parliament. As I placed it I was thinking of those serving at nearby RAF Boulmer, but also of my Grandpa, who fought at Monte Cassino in 1944. Many of his comrades never returned home. We will remember them.

I spoke in Parliament today about the horrifying recent events in Syria in which hundreds of Alawites and Christians were killed by Syrian government forces. Warm words are not enough: we need action by the Syrian Govt to protect religious minorities. #DavidSmithMP

Brexit was a disaster. Most people know it now. We gave up frictionless trade, freedom of movement, and economic stability, all for lies sold by snake oil salesmen. Leaving didn’t free us, it cost us. Let’s stop pretending otherwise.

Ok… Not nice seeing Reeves cry If it is about the new £5bn black hole in her budget Perhaps one of her close pals could sit her down, pour her a fat glass of Pinot And gently say to her… “Have you considered rejoining the EU?”

Appalled by Israeli Defence Minister Katz's proposal to move Gaza's population to Rafah. Palestinian territory must not be reduced. Civilians must be able to return to their communities. We need to move towards a ceasefire deal and open a pathway to lasting peace.

As ever, endless nonsense spoken about this. Your money has not already been taxed. Inheritance tax isn’t a tax on your wealth. It’s a tax on the windfall of the person receiving it, which they have not earned. We tax earned income too much and unearned income too little.

Does Wes Streeting want these strikes to happen? He’s made no offer, no commitment, and had months to prepare. He can't agree to paying doctors 22.67£/hr. With all the private healthcare linked donations he’s taken, does he want the NHS to fail? share.google/7y8PdeRm0s4Mrj…

As a humanist, I am also a fierce secularist - in the sense of the term that promotes freedom of (and from) religion - and separation of church and state. Everyone should be free to follow their own faith or worldview without interference from the state. And our rights should be

🚄 Brexit means Britain’s left off the map and cut off. The EU is launching a Europe-wide high-speed rail network: 49,400 km linking every capital and major city at 250–350 km/h. It’s the future of green travel and connection. And we’re not on it thanks to Brexit #Brexit

If AI is intelligent, does it, for the purposes of negligence claims, fulfil the criteria of a controlling mind if it gives bad health advice?
