✉️ It once ran up to the top of Copperas Hill.

🏗️ With the expansion of Lime Street Station, it was lost apart from the opening still visible in more recent pictures.

Liverpool: Then and Now The original domes made of timber with a lead lined shell were removed on 23/8/68 they measured six foot in height twelve foot in diameter & weighed more than a ton each. The “exact copy” replacements seen in “then” photograph made of steel & glass fibre were installed on 1/9/68.

Liverpool: Then and Now The Co Op building, just abit down from there, also housed many families during the bomb strikes. A memorial garden is there to day to commemorate the lives lost.
