WHERE DO HUNGRY TIGERS GO? NW TIGER SOFTBALL boarded its bus following its win over Notre Dame Green Pond HS at Cedar Crest College & went down Cedar Crest Blvd to the Wawa. I was headed there myself. It’s a favorite spot. Rather than get behind that line I went across the street to Wendy’s.

APRIL SHINES IN MAY Typically outstanding photos from last night's Colonial League softball semis by April Gamiz It's not easy getting great shots at fenced-in facilities like Cedar Crest, but she managed to get clear-as-day shots even in the rain. mcall.com/2025/05/14/col…

COACHES CORNER Palisades Athletics coach Rick Wilmott and NW TIGER SOFTBALL coach Kate Farber talk about their wins last night and look ahead to tonight’s championship game at Pates Park.

ALL RYLEE-D UP Rylee McGinley’s bases-loaded walk accounted for only run in last night’s 1-0 NW TIGER SOFTBALL win over Notre Dame. Northwestern vs Palisades coming up soon. Story here: mcall.com/2025/05/15/col…

A BARRY GOOD PLAYER Palisades Athletics sr. Aubrey Boushell is going to Barry University in Miami to play soccer. Before then, she’d like to win a softball title, or 2, for the Pirates. She had the game-winning hit last night in a 1-0 win over Pen Argyl. mcall.com/2025/05/15/col…
