We're absolutely delighted to welcome our very own No.1, 'Talyllyn', back into service - hauling her first passenger train since 2018 this morning! The overhaul has been an amazing achievement & we cannot thank the staff & volunteers involved enough. Doesn't she look gorgeous?

It wasn't just No.1 enjoying the limelight today, for the first time in over 70 years No.2 'Dolgoch' took on water at Tŷ Dŵr watering point! The watering point was demolished in the early 1950s and was rebuilt in 2022 thanks to the very generous donations from our members.

Vintage running session

I don't usually post about my other hobby on here but this is worth sharing. Seeing what has essentially been my second home for the past 7 years (and a frequently visited spot for about 17 years before that) in this state is genuinely heartbreaking.

Had an absolutely wonderful day with Keira at The Ratty, always such lovely friendly people - may have even gotten a cheeky ride on Whillan Beck! Amazing little machine.
