1/2 Today at KEFL, in partnership with GIZ Rwanda, Ministry of Education | Rwanda & Rwanda Basic Education Board , we launched a training program for the pilot of the national robotics program. Five teachers has been selected each representing different schools and districts across Rwanda.

2/2 The selected participants are diving into specialized training in robotics and coding, this aims to transform students from mere learners to creators with STEM skills, fostering problem-solving abilities, and driving innovation and creativity that will revolutionize education

Day 2, as a welcoming session, trainees dive into the Scratch environment, exploring the usability and functions of various blocks in the programming palette through hands-on activities, preparing them for seamless interaction with the Pictoblox programming environment.

📚 Day 2 of the National Robotic Program training! ICT teachers are diving deep into the world of tinkering, making, and coding, exploring innovative ways to teach Unit 2 for Senior 1 ICT. Excited to see the creative and engaging methods they'll bring to the classroom! 🚀

Day 4: Teachers are diving into Unit 1 of Senior 2, focusing on data protection. They're hands-on with making a passcode kit, assembling model designs, and connecting internal hardware components. #EdTech #DataProtection #TeacherTraining #STEMEducation

Day 4 (Part 2): Teachers practiced Unit 8 of "Network and Internet Fundamentals" for Senior 1 and "Network Components and Social Media Applications" for Senior 2. They built a robotic LAN kit to demonstrate the integration of robotics into the existing curriculum for both units.

Day 5: 🚀 Delving into Unit 9: GAME PROGRAMMING (Scratch) with immersive hands-on activities! 🤖🎮 Crafted the "GAME CAR" robotic kit, designed its model, and programmed it to operate. Demonstrated how robotics solutions can be seamlessly integrated into our lessons.

Day 5 (last day): Teachers engaged in micro-teaching lessons from units identified for robotics solutions in the existing curriculum. They planned and delivered lessons showcasing how to integrate robotics into their teaching. #EdTech #Robotics #TeacherTraining #STEMEducation
