Just home from #aps2024 . Not sure what was the highlight… the APS ETG and APS Gastrointestinal and Liver Section Early Career sessions, introducing Jonathan Kaunitz for the Ussing award, Declan McCole receiving the Davenport, the GI Distress gig, or presenting Caitriona Curley poster?
Such an honor to chair the APS ETG Hans Ussing Lecture Award session today and to Introduce Jonathan Kaunitz as this years awardee. Thanks to co-chair Subrata Sabui and to speakers Carlos Flores and Nickita Pokala for their excellent presentations.

Fantastic to have been able to make the trip to Italy to see the Ireland U15s take on the Italians in the final of the Torneo delle Nazioni . Thrilling match that ended with a narrow 2-1 win for 🇮🇪 🎉🎉🏆
