Homemade carby fuel goodness for our escapades!

What. A. Day. 85k and 1600m of climbing. Slow as heck and a lot of suffering but lawdy, all the good times.

A year ago today I married my lovely man. Best decision I ever made. Celebrated by a day on the bikes… Now, TO THE PUB! Very grateful for this silly little life with you. Always pushing me, whether that’s encouraging me up the hills or reminding me of my worth. Thank you.

Of course my graphic designer husband blew me out the water with the “paper” anniversary gifting! The Git. 🥰

A couple of @100climbs were slogged up at the weekend. 📍 Burbage Moor & Curbar Edge I aint no climber for sure, I definitely was brewing some kind of illness & pedalling in squares for plenty of it…but I tried & I did it! 💪🏻 (Bonus “I’m guna throw up my breakfast” face 🤢)

Teaching Ziggy new tricks…in trade for mealworms. Who knew they were such a delicacy for dogs?! 😅

Got Ziggy to the village rally and entered him to a little dog show… He only won 3rd in the most handsome pooch category!!! (Not a fix at all 👀…just glad I got him there! 🤎🐾)

Surviving on all the cool fresh salads at the moment. Watermelon and feta. Excellent 🤌🏻

Another day, another salad because we’re all melting. This time I’m going Greek! Roasted chickpeas, chilli halloumi, a homemade tzatziki style sauce. And a side of icy tonic with lime and mint.

Well…big moves in the Cleo/Ziggy relationship. All this sunshine must be getting to her head!

Absolutely obsessed with this band wagon and I am not one single bit sorry about it! Been sat in my garden since 10am and devoured it.

Delayed my departure from nightshift to patiently wait for the shop to open…
