We were fortunate today to have a visit today from the Canadian Ambassador to Israel, Deborah Lyons. Ambassador Lyons spoke separately with our Grade 11 and Grade 12 students. She gave a wonderful presentation and answered so many questions! Thanks to the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver

On April 12, we will be taking part in "Jersey Day" in tribute to the Humboldt Broncos hockey team. Students are encouraged to wear their favourite jersey and bring a donation, which will go to support families of the victims. #jerseysforhumboldt

Tomorrow we celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut! Students are asked to wear a white shirt and blue jeans to honour Israel Independence Day. It will be a fun-filled day of activities, with a delicious lunch provided by PAC. Students will be dismissed at 2:20 p.m.

Tomorrow, King David will be having our Pink Shirt Day! Students are asked to wear as much pink as possible in support of maintaining a school environment of kindness and inclusivity.

On Monday, April 30, in keeping with Cancer Awareness month, Student Council has organized a Cancer Awareness Day. Students are asked to wear yellow and bring a minimum $2 donation to raise money for cancer research.
