Our annual COP24 event kicks off this morning with almost 300 primary students from the local catchment areas in attendance to have meaningful discussions and learn about impactful methods that we can all use to contribute to the upkeep of our environment 🌎

This week the YEA project and school initiative “What’s up with the single use cup”  is launching  KCS Grind School goes green. Single-use cups will no longer be available. Bring your own reusable cup for 20c off your preferred hot beverage of choice.

Since February students have worked on a rota basis to make sure as many bottles and aluminium cans are returned. They have collected on average about €10 to €15 euro of bottles and cans per week. All the money raised is being donated to Kinsale Youth Support Service. (KYSS)
