Its certainly a stance for Carleton University to look at the last several years of policing practices and think, "Yes, that's what will be a good use of our worker's money, rent-a-cops!" I think that indicates the importance of education workers right there...

Trying to spin @CUPE4600 TAs as greedy when a third or more of their annual $11,061 (before tax) stipend goes back to Carleton University in tuition fees is disgusting. 1/3 Jerry Tomberlin @cu_provost

Many TAs at Carleton University Students (me included) regularly go over their fixed hours & NEVER fight for overtime nor pass extra work to CIs & faculty b/c we genuinely care about helping students So to find out our wages are getting docked b/c of a legal strike... Shame on CU
