🚨BREAKING: Government backs Lib Dem call to expand Free School Meals! The Government has finally listened to calls to expand free school meals to all children on universal credit, a longstanding Liberal Democrat policy.

This result sees the Liberal Democrats GAIN Wokingham Council from No Overall Control (was already a Lib Dem minority).

3 Con defences and they’ve lost all 3. 2 to the Liberal Democrats and 1 to Reform. It’s not going well is it Kemi Badenoch? You haven’t even reached your lowest point yet. Please stay on as Tory leader, it’s brilliant for the Lib Dems :)

Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey visited Oxfordshire today to lend support to the campaign by Henley & Thame MP Freddie van Mierlo for a traffic-free cycleway from Thame to Haddenham railway station. Progress on the route into Buckinghamshire has been held up by land issues.
