Great 2 days at #gmcc24 hearing about the work being done under the Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance umbrella. Particularly impressed with the range of PPIE initiatives increasing access to screening programmes, the passion of all the speakers, and the coordination across so many organisations.

The anniversary of the #Peterloo Massacre is this week. It is in this spirit that this #ConstituencyTuesday we thought we would focus on the fight for enfranchisement in Manchester during the 18th and 19th century. (1/7) 🗺️1801

More data confirming the importance of localised health strategies like Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance I spoke about this issue at North of England Otolaryngology Society and BSHENT a couple of years ago - regional policies are vital to make the most of dwindling health and social care budgets.
