Today, NJHumanServices Commissioner Sarah Adelman with Attorney General Matt Platkin & Acting MVC Chief Administrator Latrecia Littles-Floyd (New Jersey MVC) announced new tools to help law enforcement more effectively communicate with individuals with an autism spectrum or communication disorder diagnosis.

.NJHumanServices Cmr Adelman spoke against Medicaid funding cuts at a rally in Trenton today. 1.8M families, children & individuals w disabilities rely on Medicaid in NJ. The consequences of proposed cuts are devastating, but each voice is powerful. Thanks to those who spoke out.



As part of #DevelopmentalDisabilitesAwarenessMonth, Deputy Comm'r Kaylee McGuire, DC/Chief of Staff Jonathan Chebra and AC of the Division of Developmental Disabilities Jonathan Seifried thanked staff who support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.


Deputy Commissioner Kaylee McGuire and Assistant Commissioner Seifried were honored to join The Arc Ocean County and Brick Mayor Lisa Crate to celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Activities included a proclamation presentation, self-advocate Q&A, and a facility tour.
