911 telecommunicators are now classified as first responders and have access to mental health care. Moms on Medicaid have their care extended until 12 months*(!) postpartum. Public Administrators can use pooled accounts to administer conservatorships. Grateful.

Look forward to learning from young leaders at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Summit for America’s Youth. Kahlil Greene opened this year’s Thought Leadership Forum by talking about the power of young leaders and the impact of his local Boys & Girls Club in his own success.

I loved hosting some of my best and fiercest advocates for 911 this week in DC. We have done great work in MO - but we have a long way to go to get the citizens and telecommunicators of Missouri the services and recognition they deserve.

“There were over 10 counties where you couldn’t call 911 from your cell phone and geolocate it.” Thanks to federal and state funding, we’ve made major progress—but $10M more is needed to ensure NG911 reaches every county in MO & saves more lives. #moleg bit.ly/40uI6tA

Had the chance to serve as a career mentor at the Summit for America’s Youth w/ Boys & Girls Clubs of America—sharing how advocacy helps orgs like BGCA fund their work, shape policy & promote their mission. These kids are sharp & ready for the Hill. Might’ve recruited a few future lobbyists. 😉
