My friends who are Air Canada Flight Attendants are posting things like this. Solidarity with them all. The average FA works 30 hours a month unpaid. This practice needs to end here and now.

Air Canada settled with its pilots and won’t engage with its exploited flight attendants, almost all women. It counts on the federal government taking away their right to strike. That would be a historic miscalculation for the Liberals.

I find it astonishing that Air Canada Flight Attendants have not been being paid for work they do before & after the flight is in the air. I read it equals 35 to 40 hours per month (?). That’s a full week’s pay if true. How many hourly employees would do that? Is it all airlines?

What Air Canada needs to realize is that almost no one who is facing a cancelled vacation or return flight this month (myself included) is going to blame the flight attendants for wanting to be paid fairly.
