Ayla, Jay, and Jerry support the Community Transit Act! "Muni is fundamental to our business, our ethos, our existence. Our love language at Scenic Routes is reliability — we rely on our bikes, on our loved ones, on our community and on Muni. Fund the bus." – Jay Beaman, Owner

ENDORSEMENT: Prop L won’t save Muni single-handedly, but faced with the coming armada of driverless ride-hailing companies, it’s an opportunity that can’t be missed, the Chronicle editorial board writes. trib.al/PpkLANY

Our opponents claim that Muni is struggling because of plunging ridership, but that just isn't true. Muni ridership has consistently rebounded and is now at 76% of pre-pandemic ridership, despite major shifts in commuter travel. Muni now serves over 500K trips daily.

Riders are also happier with Muni service than ever, with a 71% rider satisfaction rate in Muni’s most recent customer survey — the highest in 25 years.

But Muni’s great progress in recent years is threatened by service cuts. Prop L would raise $25M per year for Muni service — enough to save over 10 bus lines.
