In 2004, my nephew Michael Long set out to ask then PM John Howard where the love was for Aboriginal people. In 2023, he was joined by Anthony Albanese and hundreds more for the Long Walk towards Recognition and a Voice.


It is appalling that another university is using a “spill and fill” approach to reduce its number of permanent academics in humanities & social science. I stand in solidarity with 52 HASS academics at ACU fighting for 19 future positions (ie 60% reduction) theguardian.com/australia-news…
