This team played in 5 tournaments this summer with 3 championships, a second place and a third place at nationals. You don’t have to pay thousands of dollars to play on a really good championship winning team.

Some travel season stats: GP: 27 PA: 74 AB: 56 AVG: .375 OBP: .514 OPS: .906 HITS: 21 RBIS: 27 BB: 15 I would not of wanted to play with anyone else. In every tournament we earned some hardware with 3 first place finishes, one second, and 3rd at the USSSA National tournament.

New team same winning attitude. After shaking the rust off yesterday in pool play the Phoenix bounced back and won the USSSA Halloween Bash over P3 by the score of 2-0. Total team effort !! Timely hitting, great pitching and solid defense. Looking forward to playing this summer

Offense was lead by Londynn Sedlak and Katie Casey, great pitching by Brooklyn Sedlak, Nora Faulkner and Kasey Jackson. Solid defense by Teagan Krzystof, Kaitlyn Berkery and Kamya Feigl.

Spartans win in walk off fashion 2-1 over Bloom in 9. Katie Casey w/ the walk off single. Huge bunt by Zoe Lepe to tie the game in the bottom of the 6th. Kasey Jackson pitched 6 innings giving up 1 run for the no decision. Kaitlyn Berkery w/ the win throwing 3 shut out innings.

Good first day for the Phoenix. Went 2-0 in pool play and earned the two seed, and a first round bye, out of fourteen teams. Back at it tomorrow morning at 9am.

Tournament Champs !!! The Phoenix go undefeated and beat P3 9-5. Absolute team effort. Couldn’t be more proud of this group. Back on the field next weekend in Orland Park.
