Yesterday, Parliament said citizenship deprivations should be effective throughout appeal. HOW this happened is even more important: 1. Parliament made a law 2. The Supreme Court interpreted it 3. Parliament disagreed, and updated the law This is how our system should work!

A judge has ruled a grey-haired Afghan was a child when he arrived here. These people put unbearable pressure on our care system in my home county, Kent, and endanger children in our schools. We have tools to check age scientifically but the Govt would rather put kids at risk.

It was horrible to see Rachel Reeves crying throughout PMQs yesterday. But she is responsible for a G7 economy. Her emotions move markets; her tears make mortgages more expensive. It’s not sexist to say that if she couldn’t stop crying, she shouldn’t have been there.

TfL spends £155m a year on graffiti removal, but the Tube is covered in it. Looking for Growth are cleaning it up. Are TfL grateful? Ha! They’ve accused LFG of putting it there themselves. To cover its incompetence, our broken state doesn’t attack problems, but those trying to fix them.

I’m a lifelong Conservative, but first and foremost a patriot. So I’m sad to see Britain’s Government cut off at the knees. Our Prime Minister can’t convince his own MPs and won’t answer a simple question. One year of this. Four more to go. We should all be very, very worried.

We MUST build more in London. Our economy needs it, our young people need it, and it’s vital for Britain's ancient and delicate balance between city and countryside. You shouldn’t have to fill in forms longer than War and Peace to make it happen.

An Iraqi asylum seeker has been allowed to stay in the UK as his speech impediment may lead to discrimination in his home country. Many people around the world have incredibly difficult lives and that is deeply upsetting. But the solution can’t be that they all live here.

Everyone who crosses the Channel illegally must leave. That is the only way to deter people from doing it. That means detention and deportation. We should work with the French where we can. But this “deal” is a joke. We can’t rely on another country to enforce our border.

Phone thefts are on the rise. In London, 116,656 phones were stolen last year alone. And it is likely contributing to knife crime and organised crime. Catching these thieves must prioritised, and they must face a proper prison sentence.

Nuts. The last thing we need is more “diversity experts”. We want the world’s most brilliant people to come here and contribute. But this makes a mockery of the system. The public have (rightly) lost faith that “high skilled” means high skilled, and this sort of madness is why

Today we learn 1.3 million foreign nationals in the UK claim Universal Credit. So many Brits are struggling to get by. Why should they be taxed more to fund the billions we’re spending on this? Those who come here must contribute. Welfare should be for British citizens only.

A girl in Warwickshire was barred by her school from giving this brilliant speech on being proud to be British. I think that’s appalling. If she’d like to make her speech in Parliament instead, please let her and her family know I’d be very happy to host them.
