We have warmly welcomed the £21m increase in the Housing Support Grant, particularly at this stage of the budget process. This needs to build on last year's efforts to improve the wages of the incredible frontline workers who prevent and alleviate homelessness across Wales 💜

On social care, we welcome the continued commitment to paying care workers the Real Living Wage. However, we are urging the Welsh Government to change their approach, ring-fence the funding and ensure it reaches social care providers to avoid the shortfalls experienced this year.

Heartbreaking news. Claire showed unbelievable strength in her campaign to improve women’s cancer care and was a fierce campaigner on many other issues - intl aid, suicide, education, equality. Her kindness, support & brilliant sense of humour has left its mark on so many of us.
