Successful second part of the yearly German floodplain workshop, we arranged in Essen. All participants were happy to visit the restored mouth of Lippe and Emscher as well as the conservation area 'Heisinger Ruhraue'.

Third: visit of Heisinger Ruhraue. Restoration was done with some restrictions. But positive effects on standing water bodies, soft and hard wood forest. Further action planned.
